With the focus by federal and state agencies on the prevention of terrorism, regulations regarding the acquisition, storage and use (disposition) of explosives have become increasingly strict. The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) and the Department of Transportation (DOT) each have placed in high degree of importance on accurate and complete record keeping systems for blasting and explosives manufacturing and distribution companies.

BATF has made improved record keeping the #1 priority for all companies storing and handling explosives. The consequences of non compliance or negligence with regards to the Federal Explosives Law have resulted in some companies having their licenses suspended or revoked resulting in the great financial loss or closure of the business.

P-Wave understands the regulations and has designed systems and workflows to handle the unique needs of companies that store, distribute and use explosives.
